this is insanely good! the only flaw i can find it with it is what sounds like overcompression - those drums have no dynamics, they all hit at the same level, you should instead try to sidechain the kick and the snare to the melodies. I absolutely looove the vibe though!

Thank you! I really apprecuate the feedback! And you definitely bring up a good point, after the day ended I did notice that the drums were lacking a little, but I didn't really feel like fixing it because day 5 was over lol

Maybe after jamuary I'll do a little remix of this or something, I'm not sure yet

I definitely feel you on the downwards spiral, I did this challenge to completion in 2022 and I'm definitely not proud of *most* songs. Even now, I'm struggling with coming up with something for the third day D:

1. I don't understand why you're leaving everywhere 5 stars
2. I mostly mean it composition wise, and not idea wise because I do have a lot of ideas, but I usually spend around a week flushing these ideas out for a single song.
3. Maybe look for something from one of your favourite or even less favourite songs? I don't know how it works for neurotypical people, but at least for me it works like this:
scenario A:
a) Listen to a song
b) think about it for at least a week
c) think it has some areas to improve on
d) take the idea and do something around it (like here, with shrimp shuffle from BTB:RP, but here it is definitely a worse version)
scenario B:
a) like usually, stim by moving your body
b) think it has a nice beat
c) use the beat for the drums
d) goof around with very wild and chaotic chords until you settle on something
